Stockholm

Stockholm is a great city for those who like art, history, shopping, public transportation, music, running, good food, and city culture. Mid-October we were in this Scandinavian capital and although it was pretty cold (approximately 4 degrees Celcius when we arrived; and it was 17 where we took off...), the atmosphere was nice. It is not as hectic as other Western capital cities, but still has a lot to offer. For instance the preserved old town (Gamla Stan), the museum of modern art, and Södermalm. Also interesting was Millesgården, a small museum of sculptures just outside 'down-town' Stockholm. And for joggers the city offers good jog opportunities. In short: Stockholm is worthwhile visiting!

Been there myself last year. Beautiful place! I'd like to add Gröna Lund as a place to visit. It's an amusement park that you can reach by ferry. Very nice rides there! :-)
Cheers,
