Pink Lloyd!

On saturday the 25th of november students of Remco's 2006 TheatreSports Course performed a brilliant improv show in the Lloyd Meeting Room of the Amsterdam Lloyd Hotel. At a quarter past eight the students energetically entered the stage ('Let me entertain you' - R. Williams). They introduced themselves to the audience as members of the Pink Lloyd Group. And -yep- they all wore pink. During a one hour show the students performed a potpourri of dynamic improvised sketches. Some of the highlights of the evening were the 'alternative' fairy tale and the song contest, where the students had to sing songs from different countries. As members of the Pink Lloyd Band, PaQ and I were very glad to get the opportunity to make a lot of sophisticated, noisy and corny songs and sounds. It was fun playing and being a part of the Pink Lloyd Show. And that is an important reason why I am in favour of an exciting sequel next year.
