Nostalgia: Casiopea!

In 1979 the Japanese fusion band Casiopea released their first album called Casiopea. During a holiday at Ameland, the Netherlands (I just finished high school) a friend of mine gave me a tape recording of that album. As from that moment, Casiopea was IT! We listened to the music over and over again. The song Black Joke was our favourite, but also other songs on this album were 'nice & corny' (i.e., advanced 'LottoBallen-Muziek') and were in our opinion beyond 'cult'. On You Tube I found a video clip of a live performance of Casiopea (1979; the early days of Casiopea: their creative period). The song is called Time Limit and is also from Casiopea's first record album. Unfortunately the Brecker Brothers and David Sanborn (horns) are replaced by synthesizers. Despite of this, the clip and (live) music is amazing!!! NOSTALGIA ;-)

Gaaf, maar klinkt wel erg naar Return To Forever met een vlugje Weather Report.
